  RUSSEL O. CARVER
  
  Russel O. Carver, 71, of 136 S. Street, Sunbury, died Saturday, May 12,
  1979.  Born March 5, 1908 in Brothersvalley Township, he was the son of the
  late Jacob P. and Lizzie B. (Walker) Carver.
  He was preceded in death by parents and two brothers, Alvin S. and Clarence
  G. Carver.
  He is survived by wife, the former Stella Muir; son, John Jacob of Berwick;
  daughter, Kathleen Elizabeth Hirsch of Loyalton, Pa., and five grandchildren.
  Friends were received at the David T. Zwier Funeral Home where services
  were held.  Interment, Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington, Pa.
