Born July 3, 1903, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Son of Jose Marie Casas Avalos and Francisca Saucedo. Preceded in death by parents, sister Refugio, brothers Francisco, Rafael, Jorge and Enrique, and first wife, Ana Maria Sidwell. Survived by wife of 37 years, the former Charlotte Elaine Weimer, and these children: David Paul Casas, at home; Jose Casas Sidewell, Felipe Casas Sidwell, Guillermo Eduardo Casas Sidwell and Silvia del Socorro Casas Sidwell de Ramirez-Espana, all of Mexico City; and stepson Alan Charles Thomas of Tampa, Fla.; nine grandchildren, one step-granddaughter and numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews, all in Mexico. Also survived by sisters: Maria del Carmen, Adelaida and Maria Antonia, all in Mexico. Professionally Mr. Casas was a certified public accountant and auditor. He founded and operated numerous businesses, the last being PENNA-MEX TRAVEL in Somerset. Member of the First United Methodist Church. Private services and interment will be at the convenience of the family. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 651 S.
