M. Louther. Her death resulted from injuries sustained on Decoration Day, when a horse she was driving in her market wagon ran away. The deceased was about sixty-five years of age. Her husband, Aaron Casebeer, and two daughters survive. The funeral took place at the Casebeer Lutheran Church in Somerset township, Monday afternoon. Mrs. Casebeer's death has occasioned sincere regret among her host of friends, who esteemed her for her many Christian virtues. If the story as told on the streets is true, the death of Mrs. Casebeer should be investigated by the proper authorities. It is to the effect that the horse on trial was represented to be perfectly safe, when in fact the beast was vicious and had run away on at least one former occasion. The Somerset Herald, June 10, 1891 Edition Page 3 [Note: Looking up the date referenced this indicates death occurred on 5 June 1891. The Year of death on her headstone in Casebeer Lutheran Church Cemetery does not appear to be correct (1890 vs the actual 1891).] DF [Note: See News for additional accident information.] ap
