Casebeer, 66, of West Sanner Street, Somerset, died June 22, 1982, at Memorial Hospital in Johnstown. Born April 3, 1916, in Somerset, son of the late Jessie and Emma Laura (Miller) Casebeer. Also preceded in death by three infant sisters. Survived by his wife, the former Thelma Blanch Hyde; and these children: Earl, married to Virgina Drabish of Wexford, Pa.; Paul, married to Cheryl Brant, Monroeville; and these grandchildren; Christopher, Theresa and Matthew. Member of the Casebeer Lutheran Church, the VFW, Somerset Sportsmen's and Rifle Association, Somerset Grange. Veteran of World War II. Owner of Casebeer Machine Shop. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Casebeer Lutheran Church, the Rev. George Walton officiating. Interment, Casebeer Cemetery. Body will lie in state at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until time of service.
