Casper, 78, Seward RD 1, died April 22, 1980, at Lee Hospital. He was born Dec. 18, 1901, in Meyersdale, son of George and Ann Casper. He was preceded in death by parents; son, George III; brother, John; and sisters, Annie and Mary. He is survived by widow, former Frances Kundrat, and three daughters: Mary, wife of George Uadiski; Josephine, wife of Edward Mroczka; and Margaret, wife of Lawrence Boyer, all of Seward RD 1; also 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Verny Silko, Nanty Glo; Susan Orceni, Ebensburg; and Margaret, Frank, Andy, Steve, Mike and Joe Casper, all of Ohio. He was a disabled coal miner, formerly employed by Imperial Coal Co., Boltz. Friends were received at Kenneth N. Gray Funeral Home, Seward. Mass of Resurrection at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, the Rev. George Pierce. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. The Republic, May 1, 1980 [C0198]
