She was the daughter of John and Julianna Lease Gindlesperger and was born July 13, 1861. Her husband, William Cassel, died some years ago. The following children survive: Mrs. Evelyn Smith and Mrs. Harry Miller, Berlin; Mrs. Clyde Davis, Franklin; Harry Cassel, at home; John, of Pittsburgh; Allen, Akron, Ohio; Charles, New York, also 15 grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren and a brother, Harry Gindlesperger, Berlin; and sister, Mrs. John Stutzman, Cloud Chief, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Berlin, with the Rev. A. Jay Replogle, pastor of the Church of the Brethren of which she was a member, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Robert S. Nagle of the Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery under the direction of Johnson and Son, morticians. Meyersdale Republican, March 25, 1943
