Born Sept. 24, 1911 in Davidsville, daughter of Jonathan L. and Minnie Weible Kaufman. Preceded in death by parents, husband, Strohl Eugene, who died June 19, 1998, two brothers, Clayton Kaufman and J. Wesley Kaufman. Survived by sons, Eugene Strohl Cassler, husband of Virginia Posa Sesack, Central City; and Frederick Henry Cassler, Davidsville; daughter, Marcia Louise, wife of Charles Arthur Bernheisel, Millersville, and sister-in-law, Romaine Irene Cassler, Laurel Wood Convalescent Center. Also survived by four grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, 20 step-great-grandchildren, and three step-great-great-grandchildren. A 1928 Graduate of Ferndale High School. A lifelong member of St. Davids' Lutheran Church, Davidsville. A life member of the Conemaugh Township Area Historical Society. Family receiving friends from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at George E. Mason Funeral Home, Inc., Davidsville. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at St. David's Lutheran Church, Davidsville, the Rev. Nelson Ilgenfritz. No viewing at the church.
