  CAUFFIEL
  
  Millard R. Cauffiel (Grinny), 65, of Hollsopple RD 2 died March 13, 1978 at
  Memorial Hospital in Johnstown.  Born Nov. 15, 1912 in Conemaugh Township in
  Somerset County, a son of Alexander and Lucinda E. Rhoads Cauffiel. 
  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by widow, the former Dorene Blough;
  a daughter, Beverly, wife of Glenn W. Zerfoss of Hollsopple RD 2; and
  father-in-law, Josiah Blough of Hollsoppe RD 2.  Brother of Edward of
  Johnstown RD 4; Norman of Farmington, Mich.; Mrs. Mary Horner of Boswell;
  John of Connellsville; Lester of Pittsburgh; Lynn, wife of Benton Thomas of
  Hollsopple RD 2; and Ann, wife of Virgil Blough of Boswell RD 1.  He was a
  member of the Benscreek Lutheran Church; veteran of World War II; foreman
  for Cooper Lumber Company; owner and operator of Beverly Lake at Somerset
  Pike.  Friends received from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 10 a.m. until 9
  p.m. Thursday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 49 Main Street,
  Boswell.  Funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday in Slough Mennonite Church with
  the Rev. Sanford Sheller officiating.  Interment, church cemetery.
