Caughey, 79, of Addison, died Aug. 2, 2002, at his home. He was born Sept. 17, 1922, in Pittsburgh. A son of the late William J. and Edith M. (Berner) Caughey. He is survived by sister Gloria Kraus, of Pittsburgh, and close friends Park and June Nicklow, of Addison, and Fred and Diane Moder, of Pittsburgh. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and served in India. A retired carpenter, he worked for many years for Wright Brothers, of Addison. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where service will be held Tuesday 11 a.m., with the Rev. Timothy Rogers officiating.
