Mrs. Caulk was the widow of John H. Caulk, who died about ten years ago. She was 84 years of age and had been suffering from arthritis and complications for some time. While she was not known here, her daughter, Miss Emma Caulk, has made her home at Grantsville for about twelve years, where she has been head of the English Department at the Grantsville High School. Her many friends here extend deepest sympathy in this hour of sorrow. Miss Caulk left Monday morning for Sharptown to attend the funeral. In addition to Miss Emma Caulk, eight daughters and one son survive. They are Miss Nelle Caulk, Mrs. William M. Martino, Mrs. Edwin F. Nuttall, Mrs. Grace E. Brody, Sharptown, Mrs. Harry Nuttall, Salisbury, Md., Mrs. Alvah Mattox, Mrs. Shelly Mattox, Nuttall, Va., Mrs. Howard Outten, Wilmington, Del., and Clarence Caulk, Sharptown, Md.
