(Bud) Cavanaugh of 208 Blakely St., Dunmore, Pa., died Aug. 14, 1999 at home. His former wife was Dorothy Haggerty. He was born in Dunmore, Pa. son of Catherine (Cronin) Cavanaugh and the late Frank Cavanaugh. Survived by four sons: Kevin of Olyphant, Pa.; Eugene of Poughkeepsie, Thomas of Laurel, Md.; and Christopher of Hollsopple; two daughters, Mary Carol Barner of Vineland, N.J., and Terese Shoemaker of Meyersdale; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces ands nephews. He was a graduate of Dunmore High School and he graduated from the Valley Forge Military Academy in 1948. Prior to his retirement he was an engineer who managed several plants in the garment industry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of Saint Mary's of Mount Carmel, Church, Dunmore, and its Holy Name Society. He was a past member of the Dunmore V.F.W. and Rotary Club. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday at the Albert P. O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge St., Dunmore, Pa. 18512, where services will be Wednesday. Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Mary's of Mount Carmel Church, Dunmore. Interment, St. Catherine Cemetery, Moscow, Pa.
