Chaney, 84, New Florence, Pa., formerly of Salisbury, died Feb. 14, 1993, at her residence. Born April 16, 1909, at St. Paul, Pa., daughter of the late John and Nancy (Sell) Kinsinger. Also preceded in death by husband, John, July 6, 1986; brothers, Ralph, Howard, Francis and Walter, and sister, Cora. Survivors include 10 children: John, Newburg, Pa.; Mrs. Ernest (Alice) Kinsinger, Meyersdale; Howard, Lebanon, Pa.; Ray, Front Royal, Va.; Gladys Mitchell, Somerset; Mrs. Max (Dorothy) Eisentrout, Salisbury; Donald Roy, Berlin; Roger, Salisbury; Mrs. Billy (Carol) Lee, Stafford, Va.; and Mrs. Earl (Nancy) Moon, (with whom she resided) New Florence; two brothers, Orville, Berlin, and Roy, West Salisbury; one sister, Dorothy Spiker, Meyersdale; 28 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Homemaker and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Newman Funeral Home Inc., Salisbury, where service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, with Rev. David E. Fetter officiating.
