Pneumonia was attributed as the cause of death. The baby was born in Rockwood on December 8, 1941, a son of John and Blanche (Kinsinger) Chaney. He is survived by his parents and three brothers: Howard, Ray and Roy, two sisters, Gladys and Dorothy, and one half-sister, Alice Chaney, and one half-brother, Johnnie Chaney. Funeral services were conducted at home by the Rev. H. G. Hohman, pastor of the Rockwood Lutheran Church, on Monday afternoon, March 23, at 2 o'clock. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Salisbury, under the direction of W. C. Price and Son, local morticians. Meyersdale Republican, April 2, 1942
