  CHANEY
  
  Fred W. Chaney, 50, Fairhope RD 1, died July 11, Conemaugh Valley Memorial
  Hospital.  Born March 14, 1924, in West Virginia, son of the late Alvin and
  Ann (Twigg) Chaney.  Preceded in death by a son, Roger, in 1947.  Survived
  by his wife, the former Leona E. Benning, and these children: Dale, James
  Larry, Phyllis, Linda and Ricky, all of Fairhope RD 1; two grandchildren. 
  Was a brother of Henry, Buffalo Mills, Joseph, Garrett, Luther, Hyndman,
  Mrs. John (Olive) Ohler, Berlin RD 1, Slynda, Buffalo Mills, Ruth, Buffalo
  Mills, Mrs. Ralph (Elsie) Benning, Fairhope, and Charles, Berlin RD 1.  Was
  a World War II veteran.  Friends will be received in the Johnson & Son
  Funeral Home, Berlin, after 7 p.m. Saturday, where services will be held
  Monday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Leroy Logston.  Interment, Miller Cemetery.
