  CHANEY
  
  James C. "Mutt" Chaney, 82, of Meyersdale died Feb. 4, 2003 in Beverly
  Healthcare, Meyersdale.  He was born Feb. 12, 1920 in Elk Lick Township, a
  son of the late Curtin and Ellen (Tedrow) Chaney.  He was preceded in death
  by these brothers and sisters John, Howard, William, Richard, Glen, Sarah,
  Leora and Uela.  He is survived by his sister Dorothy Chaney Pritts of
  Meyersdale, and a number of nieces and nephews. He worked for Sanner
  Brothers sawmill and the last 12 years for Leckemby Funeral Home.  Friends
  will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Leckemby Funeral
  Home where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with Rev.
  Bruce Ashlock officiating.  Interment Salisbury Cemetery.
