  CHANEY
  
  John D. Chaney, 87, Salisbury, died July 3, 1986, in Meyersdale.  Born Jan.
  7, 1899, in Garrett County, Md., son of late Curtin and Ellen (Tedrow)
  Chaney.  Survived by wife, former Blanche A. Kinsinger; five sons: John,
  Newburg, Pa.; Howard, Lebanon, Pa.; Ray, Gainesville, Va.; Donald, Rockwood
  RD; and Roger, Salisbury; five daughters: Mrs. Alice Kinsinger, Meyersdale;
  Mrs. Gladys Mitchell, Somerset RD; Mrs. Dorothy Eisentrout, Salisbury; Mrs.
  Nancy Moon, New Florence, Pa.; and Mrs. Carol Lee, Stafford, Va.; two
  sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Pritts, Garrett RD; and Mrs. Sarah Saylor,
  Meyersdale; three brothers: James, Garrett RD; Charles, LaVale, Md.; and
  Howard, Connellsville; 27 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. 
  Retired farmer.  Member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury.  Friends
  will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Thomas Funeral Home,
  Salisbury, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. David E.
  Fetter officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
