LINNE CHANEY

  Mrs. Linne (Layman) Chaney, 66 years, of Avilton, Md., died Sunday morning 
after a lingering illness.  She was a member of First Methodist Church of 
Frostburg.
  Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Nellie Coleman and Mrs. Marguerita Blocher, 
both of Frostburg; Mrs. Lulu Smiley, Detroit; Mrs. Anna Durst, Uniontown, Pa.; 
and Mrs. Bertha Poleman, at home; five sons, Lee H., Cresaptown; Earl R., Long, 
Md.; Pvt. Donald, Fort Belvoir, Va.; Ellis M., Frostburg, and Harry R., at home; 
a sister, Mrs. Lulu Mulligan, Cumberland; three brothers, Mark Layman, Jennings; 
Lewis Layman, Grantsville, and Albert Layman, Baltimore; 23 grandchildren and 
five great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services, Wednesday afternoon at Mt. Zion Church.
