  CHAPMAN
  
  Robert James Chapman, 56, of Smithton died July 24, 2000 at his home.  Born
  in Rostraver Township on Nov. 16, 1943, he is the son of the late Ella Mae
  (Foster) Chapman.  He is survived by his wife Dessia Lewis Chapman; two
  sons and a daughter-in-law, James and Jennefer Chapman of Smithton, Eric
  Chapman of Pricedale; daughter, Denise Chapman of Smithton; two brothers,
  John Chapman and his companion, Kathy Zebell of Torrington, Conn., William
  Chapman and his companion, Susie Joseph of West Newtown, four sisters and
  brothers-in-law, Shirley and Donald Nowakowski of Rostraver Township, Freda
  and Fred Allen of Rostraver Township; Linda and William Sinclair of
  Lambertville, N.J., and Pam and Mark Shepler of Perryopolis, and several
  nieces and nephews.  Mr. Chapman was a 1961 graduate of Rostraver High
  School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.  He worked
  as a carpenter for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  He was a member of
  the Fells United Methodist Church, Rostraver Township and the Rostraver
  Sportsmen's Club.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday in the James C. Stump Funeral Home, 580 Circle Drive, Sweeney
  Plan/Rostraver Township, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.
  Thursday, Rev. William Hoffman officiating.  Interment, Horn's Cemetery,
  Marianna.
