Charlesworth, 81, Addison RD 1, died March 24, 1989, following brief hospitalization. Born Sept. 10, 1907, son of the late James and Martha Charlesworth of Connellsville. Survived by wife, Betty Silcox Charlesworth; one daughter, Judith C. Thomas, Beaver; one grandson, Roy Thomas, Ashtabula, Ohio; one sister, Anna Mae Schell, Addison; and a brother, David H., Richmond, Va. Worked for the Anchor Hocking Glass Corp., Connellsville, and Salem, N.J., for 35 years. Member of Addison United Methodist Church where he served as lay leader, on the official board, and church choir; Excelsior Lodge 54 F.&A.M., Salem, N.J., where he served as Past Master; Odd Fellows Lodge of Connellsville. Served in the camping program of the Holly Shores Girl Scout Council GSA for 30 years. A memorial service will be held at the Addison United Methodist Church, Saturday, April l, at 11 a.m. the Rev. David Fetterman with Rev. John Hickson assisting. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Addison United Methodist Church, Addison, Pa., 15411.
