Charlesworth, 62, Addison, died Jan. 17, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. He was born Nov. 29, 1942, in Claysville (Washington County), a son of the late William and Grace (Hemelrick) Charlesworth. His parents and an infant brother Terry preceded him in death. He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Rugg and her husband Tim, Markleysburg; a grandson Dakota Ray Rugg; brothers Robert F., Confluence; Dennis K., Anderson, S.C.; and Douglas N., Wellsburg, W.Va.; and sisters, Jean Crompton, Washington, Pa.; and Sarah Reich, Sebring, Fla. He retired from the U.S. Navy with the rank of petty officer first class, following 20 years' enlistment. He was a member of Meyersdale Lodge 554 F.&A.M., Grantsville American Legion Post 214, Confluence VFW Post 7250 and the Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the hour of service, at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence. The Rev. Dean Hay officiating.
