  CHARLESWORTH
  
  William Charlesworth, 78, of Claysville, Pa., formerly of Shaner, died
  Sept. 20, 1981, at 9:30 p.m. in the Washington (Pa.) Hospital.  Married
  June 15, 1930, to Grace Hemelrick, who survives.  Also survived by two
  daughters: Mrs. Bruce (Jeane) Crompton of Washington; and Mrs. Sarah
  Charlesworth, at home; four sons: Robert F., Delevan, Wisc.; William E.,
  Addison; Dennis K. of Claysville; and Douglas N. of West Middletown, Pa.;
  nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.  Preceded in
  death by one son and one grandson.  Friends will be received in the Howard
  V. Ferrell Funeral Home, 219 Main St., Claysville, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Tuesday, where funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 1
  p.m., the Rev. G.M. Sayre of the Claysville United Methodist Church
  officiating. Interment, Claysville Cemetery.
