  EMMA JEAN CHARLTON
  
  Emma Jean (Smith) Charlton, 66, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Boswell and
  Somerset, died Aug. 15, 2004, at the Bon Secours Holy Family Regional
  Hospital, Altoona.  Born Feb. 3, 1938, in Boswell, the daughter of Dewey and
  Alma (DeLozier) Smith.  Preceded in death by parents, sister, Marietta Giffin
  and brother, Chester A.  Survived by husband, Jason "Ray" Charlton; son,
  David J. and fiancee, Amy Renee Berkheimer, Hollidaysburg; and sisters,
  Helen, widow of Ray Weigle, Friedens and Roberta Ling-Kaulp, Mansfield,
  Ohio.  Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  A 1956
  graduate of the former JBJ Joint High School, Boswell.  Former employee of
  Selected Risks, Somerset.  Would have observed 38th wedding anniversary Dec.
  24, 2004.  Member of Hollidaysburg Church of God.  Friends received from 7 to
  9 p.m. Tuesday and from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday
  at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell.  Interment, Odd Fellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
