Charlton, 59, of Stoystown RD 2, died Dec. 11, 1982, at Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born March 18, 1923, in Bayard, W.Va., son of Mrs. Lillian (Dove) Charlton, Stoystown RD 1; and the late Paul Charlton. Also preceded in death by three sons: Donald, Edward and Jackie. Survived by widow, the former Grace Foster, whom he married July 20, 1940; and these sons: Thomas, John and Barry, all of Stoystown RD 2; and Jerry, Kantner; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Brother of: Jason, Berlin RD 1; Mrs. Kathryn Isgan, Berlin; Mrs. Vernon (Virginia) Yoder, Somerset RD 5; Robert, Friedens RD 2; and Donald, Stoystown RD 1. He was a retired coal miner and was part owner of Grace's Tavern, Stoystown RD 2; and G. and R. Bar, Kantner. Member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club; and Polish National Alliance Club of Central City. Family received friends Sunday evening and will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev.
