  CHARLTON
  
  Richard L. Charlton, 59, of Stoystown RD 2, died Dec. 11, 1982, at Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 18, 1923, in Bayard, W.Va., son of Mrs.
  Lillian (Dove) Charlton, Stoystown RD 1; and the late Paul Charlton.  Also
  preceded in death by three sons: Donald, Edward and Jackie.  Survived by
  widow, the former Grace Foster, whom he married July 20, 1940; and these
  sons: Thomas, John and Barry, all of Stoystown RD 2; and Jerry, Kantner; 15
  grandchildren and one great-grandson.  Brother of: Jason, Berlin RD 1; Mrs.
  Kathryn Isgan, Berlin; Mrs. Vernon (Virginia) Yoder, Somerset RD 5; Robert,
  Friedens RD 2; and Donald, Stoystown RD 1.  He was a retired coal miner and
  was part owner of Grace's Tavern, Stoystown RD 2; and G. and R. Bar,
  Kantner.  Member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club; and Polish National Alliance
  Club of Central City.  Family received friends Sunday evening and will
  receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with
  the Rev. Samuel E. Charlton officiating.  Interment, Odd-Fellows Cemetery.
