  CHARLES A. CHIDESTER
  
  Charles A. Chidester, 49, Listonburg, died April 19, at his home.
  Born Nov. 1, 1917, in Confluence, he was a son of Henry and Fern (Tressler)
  Chidester.
  Surviving are his wife, the former Clara Mates, and these children: James,
  Zaneville, Wisc.; Mrs. Viola McCartey, Listonburg; Mrs. Delores Augustine,
  Somerset; Virgie, Judy, Johnny, Edward and Dixie, all at home; two
  brothers, Daniel and James, both of Confluence; and a sister, Mrs.
  Katherine Crosco, Chicago.
  He was a veteran of World War II.
  Funeral service was held on Sunday afternoon in Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, with Rev. Chester Henneman officiating. Interment was made in
  Addison cemetery.
