  Betty K. Chin, 76, Stoystown RD 3, died Aug. 31, 1996, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 12, 1920, in New Castle.  Preceded in death by
  parents; first husband, Gerald Richard Criswell Sr.; sisters: Eleanor
  Baker, Mary Loonam, Achsah Martin, and niece, Jane Rigby.  Survived by
  husband, James (Shee Y) Chin; son, Gerald Richard Criswell Jr., married to
  former Phyllis Paradis, Bradenville; three grandchildren, three
  great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and very special friends:
  Dean I. Frances and Dean II Boring, Johnstown.  Owned and operated Betty
  Chin's Ceramics and Income Tax Service.  Family will receive friends from 2
  to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn and
  Rev. Roger L. Furry.  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
