Born July 21, 1921, in Jenner Township, son of Joseph and Mary (Wingleish) Chlebda. Preceded in death by parents; brothers: Joseph, John, and Stanley. Survived by former wife, Emily (Geary) Chlebda, and these children: Constance Elaine, wife of James Yeasted; Charles Christopher Chlebda, married to Patricia Johnson; Jennifer Paulette Chlebda, and Tracy Lynn, wife of Roy Morrison, all of Baltimore; grandchildren: Monica (Yeasted) Edwards, Matthew Yeasted, Charles and Michael Chlebda. Brother of Mary of New Jersey, Ann of California, and Pauline of New York. Member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Davidsville, and AFL-CIO. Army veteran of World War II. Retired employee of Eastern Stainless Steel Company, Baltimore. Avid gardener. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held 8 p.m. Friday. Service at 10 a.m. Saturday at funeral home, with Rev. David Jack officiating, followed by Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, Rev. Father Conrad Salach, O.F.M. Conv., celebrant. Interment, church cemetery.
