  Charles T. Christie Sr., 80, 214 West Ave., Jerome, died June 12, 1993, at
  Cliffton Springs (N.Y.) Hospital and Clinic.  Born July 26, 1912, in
  Grafton, W.Va., son of William T. and Phoebe Ann (Weaver) Christie. 
  Preceded in death by parents; wife, former Alice J. Telenko, Dec. 22, 1991;
  son, Charles T. Jr.; several sisters and brothers.  Survived by children:
  Janice, wife of Alan Baer, Brentwood, Tenn.; James W., married to Deborah
  Haskins, Marion, N.Y., and Charles Dennis, married to Marsha Alley,
  Davidsville; also 10 grandchildren.  Member of Jerome Lutheran Church,
  UMWA, and Jerome Sportsmen Association.  Former chief of Jerome Volunteer
  Fire Department.  Past employee of former Hillman Coal & Coke Co.,
  Jerome.  Custodian for Conemaugh Township Area Schools, having retired in
  1977.  Arrangements at convenience of family will be announced next week. 
  Hoffman Funeral Homes, Boswell, in charge.  Memorials to Jerome Sportsmen
  Association or American Cancer Society, South Lynn Avenue, Somerset, would
