  ALBERT R. CHRISTNER
  
  Albert R. Christner, 71, of Garrett died August 17, 1978 at Shadyside
  Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born April 5, 1907, in Garrett, he was the son of
  the late Lewis and Eliza (Walter) Christner.
  He is survived by one son, Jay of Somerset and two daughters, Avalon Keefer
  of Somerset and Kay Carol McLaughlin, Corpus Christi, Texas; eight
  grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
  He was a brother of Estella Buckman; Beulah Martin; Mary Blach Meyer, all
  of Somerset; and William Christner of Pittsburgh.
  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Somerset.
  Friends were received at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where
  services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Robert Driesen
  officiating.  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
