  Belva R. Christner, 77, of Garrett died May 4, 1996, at Memorial Medical
  Center, Johnstown.  Born Aug. 13, 1918, in Garrett.  Daughter of the late
  John J. and Belva (Weddle) Burkholder.  Preceded in death by husband, Clyde
  W., in 1982, and these brothers and sisters: Carl W., Robert, Clyde, Ellen
  Jean Walters and Peggy Burkholder, and grandson, Kriss Gumbert.  Survived
  by two sons, Clyde W. Jr.. Garrett, and Gary, Meyersdale, and daughter,
  Janie, wife of William Ohler, Sipesville; also 11 grandchildren, 22
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Libert, Garrett RD 1, and Jeanette
  Romesberg, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.  Member of Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church. 
  Charter member of Laurel Falls Association.  Also member of Hack Club. 
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Leckemby
  Funeral home, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday.  Interment,
  Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
