Christner, 83, Garrett, died Dec. 4, 1993, in Goodwill Nursing Center, Grantsville. Born March 29, 1910, in Garrett, son of the late Francis and Clara (Hughes) Christner. Survived by widow, Leona (Haer), and these children: Millard Christner, Portland, Ore.; Eleve, wife of the late Spurgeon Romesburg; Lynnie, wife of Kenneth O'Neal, and Karen, wife of Paul Meyers, all of Meyersdale, and Aletha, wife of Elvin Sanner, Cleveland, Ohio; also these grandchildren: Kimberly Thompson, Steven and Timothy Meyers, Ryan and Roger O'Neal, and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Thompson. Retired B&O Railroad trackman. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Leckemby Funeral Home, where service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Pastor Robert Stahl. Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
