  CHRISTNER
  
  Clyde F. Christner, 73, of Morrisville, Pa., formerly of Meyersdale, died
  Oct. 1 in Trenton, N.J.  Born March 15, 1915, Brothersvalley Twp., son of
  the late Frank and Margaret (Pletcher) Christner.  Preceded in death by his
  wife, the former Emma Housel.  Also preceded by a son, Clyde E.; and two
  daughters, Ruth, and Margaret Butler.  Survived by these children: Robert
  C., Kenneth F. and Betty Brocht, all of Meyersdale; 21 grandchildren, 18
  great-grandchildren.  A brother of: Margaret Albight, Trenton, N.J.;
  Dorothy Ohler of Dunlo; Marie Housel and Emma Housel, both of Meyersdale;
  also a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Christner of Morrisville.  Member of
  V.F.W. Post 3504.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the
  Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday with Pastor Oscar Ohler officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
