  Edith L. Christner, 87, of Garrett, died Apr. 2, 1990, at Meyersdale
  Manor.  Born Mar. 2, 1903, in Summit Mills, a daughter of the late Adam and
  Sadie (Miller) Grew.  Also preceded in death by a son, Robert, and a
  brother, John Grew.  Survived by these children: Leroy Christner,
  Meyersdale RD 1; Odette, wife of Michael Dneaster, Garrett, and June, wife
  of Harold Miller, Garrett RD 1.  Grandchildren: Roger, Kim, Terry, Bonnie,
  Donna and Michael.  Great-grandchildren: Tammy, Teresa, Steve, Greg, Lisa,
  Mary Beth and Johnny.  Great-great-grandchildren: Jonathon and Justin. 
  Life member of the Mt. Tabor Lutheran Church of Garrett and the Garrett
  Senior Citizens.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday
  at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 2
  p.m. Thursday, with Pastor Pamela Armstrong and Pastor Charles Lady
  officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
