  CHRISTNER
  
  Edwin B. Christner, 70, Shanksville, died Nov. 28, 1983, at Lee Hospital,
  Johnstown.  Born July 15, 1913, in Pittsburgh, son of Clinton and Ruth
  (Baldwin) Christner.  Preceded in death by parents; sister, Mary Wambaugh,
  and an infant brother, Billy.  Survived by wife, the former Pauline Nicola
  Addleman; and children: Bruce Addleman, married to Sarah Jane Fox,
  Shanksville, and Donna Hamilton, Johnstown.  Also six grandchildren and
  three great-grandchildren.  Brother of: Mrs. William (Evelyn) Hillegass and
  Mrs. James (Betty Lou) Conrad, both of Somerset; Mrs. Dwight (Marjorie)
  Maust, Berlin; and Eugene, married to Winifred Gindlesperger,
  Shanksville.  Retired truck driver for Letty Lane Candy Co. and former
  janitor at Shanksville-Stonycreek schools.  Member of St. Mark Lutheran
  Church, Shanksville, and Forbes Area Senior Citizens.  Presently a
  Shanksville borough councilman.  Played guitar with various Country and
  Western groups.  Family received friends Tuesday evening and will receive
  friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Patricia
  Harrington officiating.  Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
