  FREDERICK H. CHRISTNER 
  
    Frederick H. Christner, 70, of Garrett, died Sept. 21, 1982, at Sacred
  Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    He was born Oct. 17, 1911, in Garrett, a son of the late Albert and
  Margaret (Gardner) Christner.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl Klink; and these children:
  Fred, of Bossier City, La.; and Mrs. Doris Burkhart, Hagerstown, Md.; also
  five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.  He was a brother of Clyde of
  Garrett.  He retired from the Western Maryland Railroad after 44 years of
  service.  He was a member of Moose Lodge No. 76, B.P.O.E. Lodge Number
  1951, American Legion Home Aid, Garrett Hunting Camp, Laurel Falls
  Association and the Garrett Volunteer Fire Department.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. William Phennicie officiating.
  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
