  GEORGE C. CHRISTNER
  
    George C. Christner, 87, Meyersdale RD 3, died Feb. 8, 1973, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born July 20, 1885, in Garrett, he was a
  son of the late Mahlon and Matilda (Pritts) Christner.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Pearl Herwig; a son, A. E. Christner,
  Overgard, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Emma Werner, Meyersdale RD 3; four
  grandchildren seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Christner,
  Meyersdale, and Harry, Cumberland; and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Brant, of
  Garrett.
    Funeral service was held Sunday afternoon in Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, with Rev. Harold Appel officiating.  Interment in Sunset
  Memorial Park, Cumberland.
