Christner, 64, of 317 Lincoln Avenue, Meyersdale, died at his home July 22, 1974. Born in Garrett, Sept. 4, 1909, he was a son of Margaret (Gardner) Christner and the late Albert Christner. He was a retired B & O Railroad conductor, with 30 years of service, and a member of the Loyal Order Of Moose, Meyersdale. Surviving are his wife, the former Mary Agnes Smith; three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Dolores) Mitchell, Hooversville; Mrs. Donald (Joan) Kline, Martinsburg, W. Va.; and Mrs. Lynn (Bonnie) Durst, Damascus, Md.; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; his mother, of Meyersdale; and three brothers, Fred and Clyde Christner, Garrett; and Paul Christner of Dover, Del.
