  H. EARL CHRISTNER
  
    H. Earl Christner, 84, of Garrett RD 1, died April 22 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    He was born Feb. 29, 1892, in Garrett, a son of the late Rudolph and
  Amanda (Newman) Christner.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Leila Baughman and these children:
  Orville of Frostburg RD 2; Alfred of Berlin; Mrs. Ernest (Margaret) White
  of Meyersdale RD 3 and Mrs. Clyde (Betty) Clay of Rockwood RD; also eight
  grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
    He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Meyersdale VFW.
    Services were conducted at the Price Funeral Home April 25 with the Rev.
  David Fetter officiating.  Interment, the Highland Cemetery in Garrett.
