  CHRISTNER, Howard H.  04/10/08    Daily American
  
    Howard H. Christner, 80, Pittsburgh, died April 8, 2008, at his residence. Born Nov.
  27, 1927, in Somerset, he was the son of Howard and Martha Mostoller Christner. Preceding
  him in death were parents; his wife, Mildred W. Christner, who died on Jan. 25, 2008; and
  two sisters. Surviving are his daughter, Carol Christner, Saxonburg; and his sister,
  Dorothy Alton, Columbus, Ohio. He was a self-employed land developer. He served in the
  U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Glenshaw.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home Inc.,
  410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Fox Funeral
  Home Inc. The Rev. Blair Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
