  CHRISTNER  
  
  Joan B. "Joann" Christner, 75, of Meyersdale, died March 4, 2002 at
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born Nov. 20, 1926, in Meyersdale.  A
  daughter of the late Elmer and Helen (Foltz) Bittner.  Also preceded in
  death by her husband Clarence "Gene" Christner.  Survived by two sons:
  Terry E. Christner, Meyersdale, and Gary Christner, Salisbury.  Also a
  granddaughter, Kelly Christner.  A former employee of Kings Department
  Store in LaVale, and for 19 years she owned and operated Chris' Tavern in
  Salisbury.  Friends, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at
  the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale; where service will be conducted at 1
  p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Larry Stewart officiating.  Interment White Oak
  Cemetery, Meyersdale.
