MARY ELLEN CHRISTNER

  Mrs. Mary Ellen Christner, aged 47, wife of David Christner, died suddenly on 
March 8th, at her home in Jenner Township.  She had been in poor health for 
several months, but was able to be about her home. She retired shortly after 
midnight and was found dead a few minutes later by her husband.  She was a 
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Berkey, of Jenner Township.  Surviving are her 
parents, her husband, and these children: Robert Christner, of New York; Mrs. 
Mabel Wrestley, of Jenner Township; Virgil, Ethel, Erma and Francis, all at 
home.  She also left two grandchildren.  Funeral services were conducted in the 
Maple Springs Church of the Brethren, by Rev. William Rummel.
