   Mary Jane Christner, 71, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her much loved
  family, on December 13, 2006. Born in Somerset County but resided in Akron, OH
  for most of her life. Preceded in death by her parents William and Clara
  Hotchkiss; husband Ray of 52 years; brothers: Bobby, William, Jr., David,
  Donald; sister Margaret; and granddaughter Angie. She is survived by her
  children: Ray (Butch) Jr. (Sherry); Margie Simmons (Bill); Glenn (Pam); William
  (Joyce) and Wendy Hatcher (Jerry); brother Larry Hotchkiss (Jeannie);
  grandchildren: Staci Martin (Mike); Eddie (Tasha); Christopher, Terry, Brandin;
  great-grandson Ty; and also a large group of extended family and friends. She
  retired from Summit Grinding after 25 years of service. Her loving and
  unselfish acts touched many lives, often times anonymously. Even nearing death,
  her family was still her main priority. She was dearly loved and will be greatly
  missed. If she had a boat filled with love, hers would surely sink. Friends and
  family were received at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH
  44305. Funeral service was held at the funeral home, Pastor Jim Jensen 
  officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sawyerwood United
