Christner, 82, of Deltona, Fla., died August 13 following a long illness. Born in Meyersdale, he was the son of Urias and Sevilla (Coleman) Christner. He is survived by his widow, Jessie Mae; two sisters: Mrs. Ula Kapphan, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Lucy Wright, Frostburg, Md.; and one brother, Paul, of Salisbury. He was a conductor for the B&O Railroad, stationed in the Pittsburgh office for 43 years before his retirement. He was also a WWI veteran and a member of the Pittsburgh American Legion. Funeral services were conducted by the Stephen Baldauff Funeral Home in Deltona, Fla. The Republic, August 17, 1978 [C0410]
