  Mrs. Pearl C. Christner, 90, of Meyersdale RD 3, died Nov. 1, 1976 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 4, 1886 in Garrett, a daughter of
  the late John and Mary Haer Herwig.  Preceded in death by her husband,
  George.  Survived by these children: A. E. Christner of Scottsdale, Ariz.
  and Mrs. Carl (Emma) Werner of Meyersdale RD 3, four grandchildren and
  seven great-grandchildren.  A sister of Mrs. Evelyn Grant of Fairchance. 
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday
  at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at
  1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. David Fetter officiating.  Interment, Sunset
  Memorial Park, Cumberland, Md.

  Mrs. Pearl C. Christner, 90, of Meyersdale RD 3, died Nov. 1 at
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
  Born in Garrett, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Haer)
  Herwig, and was the widow of George Christner.
  Surviving are a son, A.E. Christner, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs.
  Emma Werner, Meyersdale RD 3; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Grant, Fairchance; four
  grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services will be conducted at Price Funeral Home Thursday at 1
  p.m. with Rev. David Fetter officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset
  Memorial Park, Cumberland, Md.
