  Ray S. Christner, 75, of Akron, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 11, 2004.
  Ray was born January 20, 1929, in Somerset County, PA, to the late Ralph
  and Sadie Christner.
  He is survived by his wife, Mary; children: Ray ñButchî, Jr. (Sherry);
  Margie (Bill) Simmons; Glenn (Pam); William (Joyce); and Wendy (Jerry)
  Hatcher; siblings: Jack (Alice); Janet (Grady) Gilpin; and Jim (Shirley);
  five grandchildren; one great-grandson.
  All services were handled by Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio.
