  CHRISTNER
  
  Robert C. (Amos) Christner, 82, Garrett, died Feb. 9, 1986, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 28, 1903, in Garrett, son of late Francis
  and Clara (Hughes) Christner.  Survived by two brothers, Clarence, Garrett;
  and Millard, Portland, Ore.; and a number of nieces and nephews.  Retired
  employee of B&O Railroad.  Veteran of World War II.  Member of Meyersdale
  American Legion and VFW.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Monday at
  Leckemby Funeral Home, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, the
  Rev. William Phennicie.  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.  Military
  graveside service will be conducted at cemetery.
