  MRS. CLINTON C. CHRISTNER
  
    Mrs. Ruth Christner, 79, Shanksville, died Jan. 17, 1972, in Berlin. 
  Born Jan. 21, 1892, in Berlin, she was a daughter of Edwin and Cora
  (Walker) Baldwin.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
  Clinton C. Christner; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Wambaugh; an infant son and two
  brothers.
    Surviving are these children: Edwin and Gene, both of Shanksville; Mrs.
  William (Evelyn) Hillegass and Mrs. Fred (Betty) Knupp, both of Somerset;
  and Mrs. Dwight (Marjorie) Maust. Berlin; also 12 grandchildren, 15
  great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Albright and Mrs. Vera
  Davis, both of Somerset; and Mrs. Catherine Adams, Johnstown.
    She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Shanksville.
    Funeral service will be held this (Thursday) afternoon in Charles R.
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, with Rev. Herbert G. Hohman officiating. 
  Interment in Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.
