Born Jan 26, 1912, in Johnstown, daughter of late Albert and Elizabeth (Plata) Platt. Preceded in death by son, Edward; and two sisters. Survived by husband of 56 years, George P. Chuba; two daughters: Mrs. Joseph (Joan) Maslak, Somerset; and Mrs. Steve (Barbara) Sabo, Edison, N.J.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Sister of: Mrs. Florence Olexa, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Marg Bell, California; John Safko, Johnstown; Joseph Safko, New York; and Mickey and George Bodnar, both of Pittsburgh. Member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Church, Father Samuel Tomaselli officiating.
