  Elizabeth Chuba, 74, 1080 James St., Somerset, formerly of Westmont, died
  Oct. 26, 1986, in Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Jan 26, 1912, in
  Johnstown, daughter of late Albert and Elizabeth (Plata) Platt.  Preceded
  in death by son, Edward; and two sisters.  Survived by husband of 56 years,
  George P. Chuba; two daughters: Mrs. Joseph (Joan) Maslak, Somerset; and
  Mrs. Steve (Barbara) Sabo, Edison, N.J.; eight grandchildren and one
  great-grandson.  Sister of: Mrs. Florence Olexa, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Marg
  Bell, California; John Safko, Johnstown; Joseph Safko, New York; and Mickey
  and George Bodnar, both of Pittsburgh. Member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic
  Church, Somerset.  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Tuesday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, where Rosary will be recited
  at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.  Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St.
  Peter's Church, Father Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
