   Vera Hazel Churchel, 81, Johnstown, died April 20, 2007, at Arbutus Park Manor,
  Johnstown. Born Feb. 2, 1926, in West Woodstock, Vt., a daughter of Ralph and Emma
  (Hubbard) Peoples. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Loren Peoples. Survived by
  her husband of 53 years, Richard; a daughter, Judy Seese, Johnstown; sister, Elizabeth
  Rugg, West Boyleston, Mass.; and a brother, Rollin Peoples, Cherry Hill, N.J. She was a
  Korean Era Women's Air Force veteran. Member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church and
  a former member of the Somerset Red Hat Society. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m.
  until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Olivet United
  Methodist Church. The Rev. David Bowman officiating. Interment Mount Lebanon Cemetery. In
  lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association,
  400 Luray Ave., Johnstown, PA 15904- 253. Arrangements by Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin.
