(Jimmy) 12/18/06 Daily American James P. "Jimmy" Chynoweth, 58, died Dec. 16, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Johnstown and a former resident of Davidsville, he had been living in Bensalem for 16 years. Survived by beloved partner for 36 year, Phillip Randall; devoted son of Patricia (O'Connor) and the late James R. Chynoweth; loving brother of Daniel, Jeffrey (Margaret), Timothy (Cindy), Kevin and Trish (Gerald) Gathers. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A 1966 graduate of Bishop McCort High School, and a 1970 graduate of LaSalle University. James was the director of Operations for the Philadelphia County Board of Assistance for the past 34 years. He was a very active member of St. Ephrem Parish where he directed the children's choir, taught RCIA and assisted throughout the school. James was devoted to his family and he will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Relatives and friends will be received by the family 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, in St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by a funeral Mass at 7:30 p.m. Interment in O'Connor Cemetery, Forwardstown, will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jimmy's memory may be made to St. Ephrem Church Capital Champaign Fund at the above address. CHYNOWETH, James Patrick 05/23/07 Daily American James Patrick Chynoweth, 57, Bensalem, formerly of Davidsville, died Dec. 16, 2006. Son of the late James R. Chynoweth Jr. and Patricia (O'Connor) Chynoweth, Davidsville. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sister, Patricia Gathers; brothers, Dan, Jeffrey, Timothy and Kevin; partner, Phillip Randall; and numerous, nieces, other relatives and friends. Friends and family are invited to a memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Saint Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville. The Rev. Father Michael Lewandowski OFM Conv., celebrant.
