  Gertrude V. (Kosak) Ciba, 79, School Street, Jerome, died July 6, 2000, at
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born March 17, 1921, in Windber,
  daughter of Benjamin and Veronica (Jurglieweicz) Kosciuch.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Walter J., on May 10, 1984; and sisters, Edith
  Kasper and Jane Godish.  Survived by daughters, Carolyn A. Ciba, at home;
  and Joanne P., married to Ronald J. Shark of Windber: granddaughter, Sarah
  M. Shark, and sisters, Genevieve Godish, Johnstown; and Bertha Rykala,
  Jerome.  Member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville, and former Holy
  Cross Catholic Church, Jerome.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday,
  and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, at Hoffman Funeral Home, Route 403 and
  Church Road, Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held Sunday
  afternoon.  Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anne Church.  Rev. Father
  Michael Lewandowski, OFM Conv., Celebrant.  Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery.
